Feeling tension in your neck and upper shoulders? Then give this a try … to open the front line and to strengthen the mid back … which ultimately improves posture.
- Begin lying on your stomach with your arms comfortably at your sides.
- While keeping your arms straight, lift your shoulders and arms up toward the ceiling, focusing specifically on drawing the shoulder blades together and down.
- With your mid back muscles constantly engaged, sweep your arms up to shoulder height to form a “T”; then slowly draw them back down to your sides.
How does that feel after sitting at your computer all day?
