About five years ago, I was presented with an opportunity that, at the time, I thought was a financial opportunity. Little did I know that this opportunity would change the way I think about myself and the world around me. I really didn’t understand the impact of the company motto of MAKING PEOPLE BETTER.
During the early days of getting my feet wet in “learning the business”, it was HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that I read The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson. This book introduced me to terms that I had heard of but never really understood … like philosophy, mindset, and ripple effect. I was also introduced to personal development leaders such as Jim Rohn, Darren Hardy, and Mel Robbins. I found myself reading their books, listening non-stop to their audios, and following them on social media. Personal development became my life while lying in bed, getting ready in the morning, and while driving in the car. Little by little, as concepts made sense, I began to implement them. And I began to notice changes in my behavior and the behavior of those around me. All of a sudden, I was attracting the people who made me happy, who resonated with me. I felt amazing!
When I accepted this opportunity five years ago, our company had just released its third product, a body contour cream … a great product for smoothing cellulite. I laugh now because I didn’t realize I needed a cellulite cream, but I have to admit, I don’t leave the shower without applying it EVERYDAY! As I began to incorporate these products into my daily routine, I felt nagging pain disappear, endurance increase, and tired skin glow.
With each consecutive product release, I thought to myself, “what in the world do we need that could be better than the previous product?” As the leadership team and the scientists educated us on the products, I felt truly grateful that I could help the people around me to incorporate healthy lifestyle choices that improve the look and feel of their bodies. I felt blessed that I was associated with a company that was in perfect alignment with my passion of helping people to feel balanced, focused, and grounded.
All of this leads me to the topic of the side hustle. As you look back on the previous year, did you realize your goals or did the year pass you by like a freight train? Are you ready to draw a line in the sand to make a meaningful impact in your life? Perhaps you want to pay down unnecessary debt, to pay for children’s activities, to build a fund to pay cash for your next car. Maybe you feel sluggish in your current job and need to create plan B. Or you are open to digging deep inside of your soul to determine who you were created to be, to become more charitable with your time, talent, and treasure. If you resonate with one or more of these ideas, I invite you to learn about the life-changing opportunity that Neora has to offer to you and your family, then reach out to me. I would love to help you to create the life you’ve always dreamed of living.
